What is VPN (Virtual Private Network)?

A technology that creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and a remote server, securing internet traffic.

VPNs encrypt all network traffic between your device and the VPN server, protecting data on public networks and masking your IP address. Protocols include OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPSec, and L2TP.

Use cases include remote work access, bypassing geographic restrictions, privacy protection, and securing public Wi-Fi connections. Enterprise VPNs connect branch offices to central networks.
