1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Dargslan's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Dargslan is an online eBook store that sells digital books and related learning materials. Our services include:

• Sale and delivery of digital eBooks (PDF, EPUB formats)
• Access to downloadable source code and supplementary materials
• Account management for tracking purchases and downloads

3. Digital Products

3.1 Nature of Products

All products sold on Dargslan are digital goods delivered electronically. There are no physical products shipped.

3.2 Delivery

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

• Immediate access to download your purchased eBooks
• Email confirmation with download links
• Access to downloads for 7 days from purchase

All digital products are delivered electronically via instant download. No physical media is shipped.

3.3 Functionality, Compatibility & Interoperability

In accordance with EU Directive 2019/770 (Digital Content Directive), we provide the following information about our digital products:

• Formats: Our eBooks are provided in PDF and/or EPUB format. Some products may also include downloadable source code archives (ZIP).
• Functionality: eBooks can be read on any device with a compatible reader application. PDFs preserve exact formatting; EPUBs adapt to different screen sizes.
• Compatibility: PDF files are compatible with Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), all modern web browsers, and most e-reader devices. EPUB files are compatible with Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo, Calibre, and most e-reader applications (excluding Amazon Kindle, which requires conversion).
• Interoperability: Our eBooks are DRM-free and can be used across multiple personal devices without restrictions. No internet connection is required after download.
• System Requirements: A device (computer, tablet, smartphone, or e-reader) with a PDF or EPUB reader application. Minimum storage space varies by product (typically 5–50 MB per eBook).
• Updates: When significant updates are made to a purchased eBook (e.g., new edition, error corrections), updated files will be made available in your account library at no additional charge.

3.4 Personal Use License

Each purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own educational purposes. You may not:

• Share, distribute, or resell the content
• Upload to file-sharing services
• Use for commercial training without separate licensing

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes where required. Prices are subject to change without notice.

4.2 Price Reductions & EU Omnibus Directive

In accordance with EU Directive 2019/2161 (Omnibus Directive), whenever a price reduction is announced for any product on our platform:

• The prior price displayed alongside the reduced price represents the lowest price applied by Dargslan during the 30-day period preceding the price reduction.
• If the product has been on sale for less than 30 days, the reference price is the lowest price since the product was first listed.
• All price changes are recorded and retained for compliance verification purposes.

This ensures full transparency and compliance with EU consumer protection legislation regarding price indications.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed through Stripe and PayPal. We accept major credit cards via Stripe and PayPal accounts/balances via PayPal. Your payment information is never stored on our servers — all transactions are handled directly by the respective payment processor.

4.4 Accepted Payment Methods

• Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express (via Stripe)
• PayPal: PayPal account balance, linked bank accounts, and cards through PayPal

4.5 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, you will not be charged and no download access will be granted. Please contact your payment provider or try a different payment method.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please see our Refund Policy for complete details.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

All content on Dargslan, including eBooks, images, text, and code, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The content is owned by Dargslan or its content providers.

6.2 Limited License

Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to use the purchased content. This license does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper working of the website
• Engage in any form of automated data collection
• Impersonate any person or entity

8.1 Educational Content

Our eBooks are provided for educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees about the completeness or suitability of the content for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic.

Nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory consumer protection rights granted to you by the laws of your country of residence within the European Union.
